23. Holy Communion For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes. 1 Corinthians 11:26 Walking to the front counter, Emet and Hanan were shocked to see that the early arrivals were Yosef, Anna, and Uzziel. “Good morning, friends!” Emet chirped. “What brings you all to the shop so early?” At first, the three customers were all silent. Yosef, Anna, and Uzziel were each just as shocked as Emet and Hanan to find the other two there. They had all hoped for a moment alone with Emet. As they awkwardly exchanged glances, Anna and Uzziel motioned toward Yosef, indicating that he should go first. Yosef smiled in thanks, then turned to Emet. Discussion Questions Which of the types of bread do you relate to the most? Explain. Which of the three customers do you relate to the most? Why? Which of the parables or Bible stories most impacted you? Explain. How can you be more careful about what you put (or allow) into your “dough”? Describe some practical ideas or steps. A word from the President

Dear sisters in Christ (Women Ministry Network) As we are left with few weeks to celebrate Christmas day and few weeks to 2024, can we just reflect back and see the grace of God and His mercy. We have seen Him providing for us and protecting us. Some have faced difficulties; some have lost their beloved ones but we continue experiencing the faithfulness of God. Jesus Christ has been our comforter in everything that we have experience in the year 2023, Matthews 5:4. In everything that we have experienced individual, let’s give God the Glory. In everything that we have achieved in 2023, let’s give Him the Glory and acknowledge that it was not about, but Him. Jesus Christ loves us. We need to give thanks to God for being with us and guiding us in 2023. It has been a wonderful year, regardless of its challenges. As we pray for 2024, and the new resolutions, let’s remember that His mercies are new every day. He is the director of our paths. His promises are yes and Amen...
